PLPOA is a non profit 501 (3)(c) organization. Annual membership dues provide basic support for the all-volunteer board and committees to help promote best practices for lake preservation through communication, information, and community building. These dues cover the newsletter, annual picnic, taxes, annual meeting costs, and donations to the NH Lakes and Loon Preservation organizations.
Donations to the Lake Quality Preservation Fund go 100% to testing, supporting grants to repair erosion, improvements to buffer zones, and lake treatment.
